The brake system of car Sharan has two subsystems working independently from each other, — working (foot) and lay. The working brake system with a hydraulic drive is divided into two independent contours: the right forward and left back wheel — one contour, and other contour — the left forward and right back wheel.
Pressure in both contours of braking is created in the main brake cylinder by pressing a brake pedal. The vacuum amplifier is applied to effort reduction by pressing a pedal of a brake and more effective work of system. The vacuum amplifier of a brake drive works for the account разряжения, the petrol engine formed in an inlet collector or at the expense of the special vacuum pump for diesel engines. At usual service conditions both contours work synchronously.
