Dismantling and assemblage of the brake mechanism can be spent independently only in the event that there is a necessary operational experience with details of hydraulic brake system and provided that there is available a complete set for repair of the brake mechanism.
Dismantling of the brake mechanism of a forward wheel spend in a following order:

- Clamp the cylinder 6 (fig. 317) in a vice;
- By means of a screw-driver remove a dustproof ring 11 from the piston;

- Establish under the piston a wooden overlay (fig. 318) not to damage the piston about a support surface at its pushing out;
- Accurately forcing a stream of compressed air through an inlet aperture for a liquid (fig. 318 see, it is shown by an arrow), push out the piston from the cylinder;

- Cautiously screw-driver (fig. 319) take a sealing ring 9 (fig. 317 see) of the brake cylinder. Do not damage thus a cylinder aperture;
- Carefully clear all details and if the cylinder and the piston are in a good condition use the repair complete set at assemblage. The sealing ring 9 Is recommended (fig. 317) the cylinder see and a dustproof ring 11 to replace new. Necessarily track, that the repair complete set corresponded to year of release.
Assemblage of the brake mechanism of a forward wheel spend in an order, the return to dismantling, thus:
- Establish a new sealing ring 9, preliminary having greased with its brake liquid, and on a piston surface put graphite greasing or greasing "Ditor";
- Put on a dustproof ring 11 external working edge the piston;

- Slowly pressing the piston into the cylinder, by means of a screw-driver, cautiously insert an internal working edge of a dustproof ring into a flute (fig. 320) the cylinder (the cylinder should be thus clamped in a vice);

- By means of a clamp slowly press the piston into the brake cylinder (fig. 321). Thus the external working edge of a dustproof ring will enter into a piston flute as soon as it will appear opposite to it;
- Remove air from the brake cylinder. For what put on the union for prorolling a hose, and its end put on on the filled brake liquid a syringe. Fill the cylinder with a brake liquid until it will not start to leave through connection of a brake hose;
- After assemblage and installation of the brake mechanism restore liquid level in a tank and pump over hydrodrive system.
