The primary goal of this system — not to give to steams of fuel leaving through the ventilating pipeline 15 (fig. 161) a fuel tank to get to atmosphere, and to collect them in a separator 8 with the activated coal. Thanks to this system evaporations harmful to environment which can be formed, for example at fuel heating in a tank are caught and condensed.
At the working engine steams collected in a separator with activated coal, being condensed, arrive back in a tank. This process is regulated by the electromagnetic valve 5 which work the electronic block of management (ЭБУ) operates.

The majority of details of this system are identical to the 2-litre engine and engine VR6. Details of system of clearing with application of the activated coal for engine VR6 are shown on (fig. 161 see). Different details of this system for the 2-litre engine are shown on (fig. 162).
At removal and installation of details of system of clearing from application of the activated coal carry out following recommendations:
- The ventilating pipeline 15 (fig. 161 see) departs from the valve of ventilation of a fuel tank;
- Arm 1 крепит the electromagnetic valve 5;
- The ventilating hose 3 should not adjoin to other parts of the car;
- The vacuum hose 4 goes from the ventilating valve картера;
- The electromagnetic valve 5 opens at the included ignition in a direction specified by an arrow. If the engine is heated-up, the valve joins ЭБУ;
- штекерная колодка 6 is двухштырьковая штекерная колодка green colour;
- Connecting elements 7 are located on the bottom part of the air filter;
- The separator with the activated coal is located in a lobby, right, a wheel arch. For its removal it is necessary to remove a covering of an arch of a wheel;
- The ventilating pipeline 10 passes to atmosphere and is strengthened in a body;
12 it is necessary to replace O-shaped sealing rings always if connections of elements 11 have been opened;
- The locations of connecting elements 1 (rice 162 see) correspond to connecting elements 7 (fig. 161 see);
- The electromagnetic valve 3 (fig. 162 see) fastens the rubber holder 2;
- штекерная колодка 4 electromagnetic valves are штекерная колодка 6 (fig. 161 see).
