The given system during 65 with forces air for final valves at temperature of a cooling liquid of the engine between 15 ° and 35 ° C. Thereof the engine leaves the fulfilled gases enriched by oxygen which promote reburning, and allow the catalyst to get warm faster. Work of system of additional giving of air operates ЭБУ systems "Motronic" through the relay of the secondary pump to the valve of an admission of secondary air and the combined valve.

After each subsequent start of the engine and until as the engine temperature will reach 85 ° C, the system of additional giving of air (fig. 99) joins with lateness in 20 with and idles the engine during 5 with, thus system work is supervised by the self-diagnostics device.
The condition of details of system of additional giving of air is traced or in «the final conclusion about malfunctions» or if there will be any defect it will be fixed in the registrar of malfunctions. At the reference to memory of the registrar of malfunctions (work is made on HUNDRED), malfunction is easily diagnosed, and then can be corrected.
For some positions (fig. 99 see) following additional explanatories are given:
- In an air line of 1 head of the block of cylinders additional air is forced;
- The elevating eye 4 is screwed at the left on a head of the block of cylinders;
- The valve of giving of additional air is twisted in a collar 5;
- штекерная колодка 7 it is put on the inlet valve (black colour);
- The vacuum hose 8 is attached between the top part of the inlet pipeline and a distributive fuel highway;
- The inlet hose 9 goes from the top part of the air filter. Its connection should be tight, without air receipt;
- штекерная колодка 11 concerns the motor of the air pump. It of black colour also has two штырьковых a conclusion;
- The holder 12 keeps the motor of the air pump. It is screwed up in an air inlet of the fan of cooling;
- шланговый a collar 14 крепит an inlet hose;
- The pressure head sleeve 15 fastens between the engine of the pump 10 and the combined valve 17;
- The holder 16 крепит the combined valve on a directing tube щупа for check of level of oil;
- Always change the O-shaped sealing ring 19.
