For removal of an intermediate shaft it is necessary to dismantle the engine from the car. To remove an intermediate shaft, it is necessary to remove a drive 12 (fig. 69 see) oil pump as the pump is put in action by intermediate shaft.

After removal of parts of a drive of the mechanism газораспределения (fig. 91 see) the intermediate shaft becomes easily accessible, bolts of its fastening it is possible to turn on and a shaft to take.
Installation of the oil pump is spent in sequence, return dismantling. Thus it is necessary to track, that on a directing ring of a shaft there was an adjusting label. The ring should be fastened so that the adjusting label was in the top part, differently it will not be possible to adjust properly a mechanism drive газораспределения.
