For measurement of apertures of cylinders it is required нутромер (fig. 447). We would like to warn you what to use such device uneasy as at an inclination of measuring tips you receive incorrect results of measurement. If at you is not present нутромера or you are not able to use it you cannot spend following works. In this case it is better to address on HUNDRED.
Measurements of an aperture of the cylinder should be spent in a longitudinal and cross-section direction. With the help нутромера measure diameter of the cylinder on distance of 10 mm from an upper edge of an aperture of the cylinder, and then on distance of 10 mm from a bottom edge of an aperture of the cylinder. Spend one more gauging in the centre of an aperture of the cylinder. In total it will turn out six results of measurements. Write down all received values and compare them to the data resulted in the table of adjustments and the control. Remember that нутромер in a cylinder aperture should settle down under a correct corner because even the slightest warp conducts to reception of incorrect results of measurements. If нутромер it is inserted, as it is shown on fig. 447 it can bend to the right or to the left, during carrying out of measurements. An arrow of the device will be thus constant to come back to average size about which there is a speech at measurement of diameter of an aperture of the cylinder.
Write down all 6 results for each cylinder. If you draw the scheme similar to fig. 448 results of measurements for descriptive reasons bring in it is better. Diameter of the cylinder should not differ more anywhere than 0,08 mm from the nominal size.
To measure a backlash of pistons, measure diameter of pistons (fig. 449) and write down the received values of all diameters of pistons. For backlash definition it is necessary to calculate a difference between diameter of apertures of cylinders and diameter of pistons.
In the engine pistons of two increased (repair) sizes for what it is necessary to chisel the block of cylinders can be established.
