- Start the engine and allow to it to work about 15 mines on average turns;

- By means of the voltmeter measure pressure between the plug «30» (the plug of a thick red cable on the generator) and "weight" of the generator;

- Turn away two bolts of 7 fastenings of a regulator of pressure 6;

- Cautiously take out from the case of the generator a pressure regulator in gathering with щеткодержателем and generator brushes (fig. 336);

- Measure length acting of щеткодержателя coal brushes. If their length is less 5 mm it is necessary to replace brushes.

Trip with the faulty generator
