At the new car and accordingly the engine will not be any problems with отворачиванием screws, nuts, bolts etc. If the car not so new there are difficulties with easing of carving connections, especially if turned on connections were exposed to long influence of a street dirt. For the decision of these problems following recommendations are offered.
At easing of nuts on bolts with a coming out carving always clear an acting part of a carving a wire brush to remove from it a dirt or a rust. It will allow to turn away a nut with smaller efforts. Then process a junction means of type easily getting and corroding a rust «WD-40».
If it is necessary to unscrew the bolt screwed in a welded nut (more often such connections are used on a body), whenever possible process a junction means corroding a rust. At such connections it is very easy to break a head of a bolt or to damage a carving of the welded nut.
Sometimes happens extremely difficultly to turn away screws with usual or крестовым шлицем. The screw-driver with крестовой a head very easily slips out from шлица the screw and damages it thus. To avoid it, it is possible to put a screw-driver to a screw head and some times shortly to strike a hammer on the screw-driver handle. In most cases the screw after that easily gets out.
In modern motor industry screws with the special heads similar to heads of screws with крестовым шлицем are even more often used, but are not them. Such heads of screws are called «Torx», and these screws turn away special nozzles which can be bought in the complete set.
Screws with internal шестигранной a head or screws with a polygonal head (the greatest having 12 corners) also can cause difficulties at отворачивании. First of all it is necessary to clear an aperture шестигранной heads (for example, a small screw-driver) to have possibility to insert face шестигранный a key or a many-sided key. If necessary it is possible to use a mounted head. Before оворачиванием the screw strike a hammer on a mounted head to weaken connection. Sometimes for отворачивания it is required bent шестигранник but if it is difficult to turn off and to it is offered to be put on the long end шестигранного a key накидную the head of a small wrench or simply tube, for shoulder increase. Using накидным a key as the lever it is possible to turn on easily a bolt.
Small easily accessible bolt with internal шестигранной a head it is possible to turn on also by means of an adjustable spanner (fig. 13), strong having compressed it outside, especially in the event that sides of an internal head are broken. At сжимании an adjustable spanner try not to get fingers in 13 arrow specified in fig. space.
There can be complexities at отворачивании nuts and the bolts which sides have been broken because of use of a key of the improper size. It is possible to try to turn away such nut or a bolt by means of already mentioned adjustable spanner. Depending on an arrangement of a nut it can be cut down a chisel or to saw along a carving. Besides, it is possible to apply the tool to splitting of nuts if there is enough space near to a nut for its use. The way of application of the tool is shown on fig. 14. The tool bolt is tightened until the nut will not break up. Advantage at such way is that the bolt carving is not damaged.
Sometimes happens that at a bolt the head breaks. That from an aperture to take the carving rest in "the bolt" centre drill an aperture and apply so-called «a corkscrew with the left carving». It is twisted as a bolt in the drilled aperture. By means of a tightening the adaptation runs into a bolt and can take it thus. It was not possible if to take, there is a unique way — to drill the bolt rest approximately equal (diameter of a drill should be hardly less diameter of a bolt) on diameter a drill.
Raspornye bolts get out by means of two mutually законтренных nuts. At twisting the key should be established on an internal nut, at a twisting the key should be established on an external nut.
If the carving cut in aluminium details at an inhaling of bolts is damaged, it is necessary to use carving nozzles under the name «Heli-Coil». They can be twisted in an old aperture with the damaged carving.
