Folksvagen Sharan/Sharan repair>> Ignition system>> The distributor of ignition of the 2,0-litre engine>> Removal and installation of the distributor of ignition Removal of the distributor of ignition spend in a following order:
- Uncover the ignition distributor;
- Disconnect штекерную колодку the gauge of the Hall from the ignition distributor. For what, compress a spring collar and pull out штекерную колодку;
- Turn the engine until the piston of the first cylinder will not rise in position ВМТ of a course of compression:
- On the engine established on the car, the label «0» (fig. 219,) on a flywheel should stand on one line with "window" edge in the flywheel case;
- On the removed engine the groove on гасителе fluctuations should coincide with an arrow on a protective casing приводного a belt (see
Fig. 219, and the adjusting label on a camshaft pulley (fig. 220) should be on one line with an arrow on a casing приводного a belt.
- Establish бегунок the ignition distributor in the specified position (fig. 221) before it will be removed. Mark top бегунка and edge of the case of the distributor of ignition, having scratched risks;
- Put on a bolt гасителя fluctuations a mounted head for проворачивания the engine.
- Turn away a bolt and remove clamping рейку the ignition distributor;
- Pull out the distributor of ignition from the engine.
Installation of the distributor of ignition is spent in an order, the return to removal.
If the engine after removal of the distributor of ignition was turned, execute the following:
- On the engine established on the car:
- Establish the piston of the first cylinder in position ВМТ during compression, i.e. both valves should be closed (if the cover of a head of the block of cylinders) is removed, or turn the engine until the label «0» (fig. 219 see,) on a flywheel will not appear on one line with "window" edge in the flywheel case;
- On the engine removed from the car:
- Turn the engine until the groove on гасителе fluctuations will not coincide with an arrow on a protective casing приводного a belt (fig. 219 see,), thus the adjusting label on an outer side of a cogwheel of a camshaft should lie opposite to label ВМТ located on an internal metal wall (fig. 220 see);
- Check up position of a landing neck of a shaft of the oil pump. The pin axis (222) should pass fig. in parallel an axis of a cranked shaft. In case of need, the shaft neck can be levelled by means of flat-nose pliers;
- сориентируйте бегунок the ignition distributor on earlier put risks on бегунке and at edge of the case of the distributor of ignition (fig. 221 see);
- In this position бегунка put on a cover of the distributor of ignition and fix its clips;
- сориентируйте the ignition distributor (fig. 223, it is shown by an arrow) and establish it on the engine;
- Connect three-contact штекерную колодку the ignition distributor;
- Adjust the ignition moment (see подразд. 8.4), turn of the case of the distributor of ignition.
We advise to address on HUNDRED, to spend exact check and adjustment of the moment of ignition which is carried out by means of the special tool.
