At the ignition coil resistance of a winding is checked, whether there is no short circuit between windings and isolation breakdown on "weight". Isolation breakdown on "weight" is found out on прогару or to smelting of a plastic cover of the coil of ignition. Measurement of resistance of a winding of the coil of ignition spend an ohmmeter.

Check of the coil of ignition carry out in a following order.

2,0 litre engine:

- Switch off ignition and disconnect a high-voltage wire from the high voltage transformer;

- Connect an ohmmeter between plugs «1» (plus) and «15» (minus) (fig. 215) and measure resistance of a primary winding which should make 0,5—1,2 Ohm;

- Connect an ohmmeter between plugs «15» and «4» (the central cable) and measure resistance of a secondary winding which should make 3 — 4 clod;

- If resistance does not correspond to the specified sizes it is necessary to establish the new transformer of a high voltage.
