The water pump is not subject to repair, therefore at failure detection replace it with the new.

The 2,0-litre engine

The water pump cannot be repaired, therefore in a case in it malfunctions, replace it with the new.

For pump replacement turn away the case of the thermostat and take out the thermostat 6 (fig. 188 see). Turn out bolts of 3 fastenings of the pump from its case and remove the pump. Remove a lining 5 between two half of case of the pump. Before tightening the pump to the case, establish a new lining, replace an O-shaped sealing ring of the case of the thermostat. Can be removed and the details shown on (fig. 188 see) are accordingly replaced only.
