The 2,0-litre engine

Radiator removal spend in a following order:

- Disconnect the plug «–» from АБ as at the included ignition of a wire of the electrofan are energised;

- Merge cooling liquid from cooling system (item 5.1.1 see). That the cooling liquid followed faster, uncover a broad tank;

- Disconnect from a radiator all air hoses;

- Disconnect wires from conclusions of the temperature switch of the fan and the fan motor;

- ослабьте clips top and bottom (fig. 187) a hose of a cooling liquid. Disconnect hoses from a radiator and take them aside, without bending them thus;

- Disconnect a hose connecting radiator and a broad tank;

The note Hoses fasten by means of spring clips. For removal of clips it is necessary to use special кусачки at number 798-5, and at installation it is possible to use, as a last resort, screw clips if is not present кусачек for installation of spring clips.

- Remove a forward bumper, a cross-section basic beam and a radiator lattice;

- Turn out bolts 4 (fig. 182), located on each side a radiator see and take a radiator 1 in a direction downwards. Thus watch to damaging a radiator cell;

- In case of need disconnect a casing 2 from a radiator and the motor of the fan 8 from a casing.

Radiator installation spend in an order, the return to removal. Then fill in cooling liquid in cooling system (item 5.1.1 see).

Engine VR6

Removal of a radiator from the car equipped with engine VR6, is spent the same as and from the 2,0-litre engine. However pay attention to following moments:

- In the presence of the conditioner remove клиновой a belt of its drive. Turn away the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering and leave hoses to hang on one party;

- Remove the conditioner compressor but so that pipelines have not opened;

The note The further actions are identical to all updatings of the engine.

- Disconnect wires from the temperature switch of the motor of the fan and the additional air pump;

- Disconnect from the pump inlet hoses and pressure head sleeves;

- Turn away bolts of a tightening ring of the fan and remove a ring with the fan and the additional air pump;

- In the presence of the conditioner remove clips of cooling hoses. Remove a radiator of the conditioner from a radiator and put forward it as it is possible further forward;

- Remove a radiator the same as and from the 2,0-litre engine. A radiator take out in a direction downwards.

The prevention At radiator extraction try not to strike it about other details of the car to avoid damage of cells of a radiator (it can lead to a radiator leak).

Radiator installation spend to sequences, return to removal.

The note At installation it is necessary to replace spring clips on screw, otherwise it is necessary to use for their installation special кусачки.
