The pallet картера can be removed from the engine established on the car. Pallet removal картера is spent in a following order:

- Turn away a stopper 20 (fig. 166) apertures for plum of oil see and completely merge from the engine engine oil in in advance prepared capacity;

The note
To utilise old engine oil follows according to rules of preservation of the environment.

- Remove protection картера the engine;
- Turn away bolts of 18 fastenings and remove the pallet картера 21 together with a lining 22.

The note
On the 2,0-litre engine it is heavy to reach bolts of fastening of the oil pallet, located from outside a flywheel. On HUNDRED special keys for bolts 3249 and 3185 are for this purpose used.

Pallet installation картера spend to sequences, return to removal, thus observe following moments:
- Old lining of the pallet always replace with the new. Watch, that the lining has not moved at installation;
- Before installation put on surfaces of contact of the oil pallet and the block of cylinders hermetic «D2»;
- In regular intervals cross-wise tighten bolts of fastening of the pallet картера. Bolts with шестигранной a head are tightened by the moment 20 Н·м (the engine 2,0) or the moment 15 Н·м (engine VR6);
- Fill in in the engine of engine oil of 5,5 l if the oil filter acted in film;
- If the oil filter did not act in film, fill in 5,0 l of oil.
