Each atomizer fastens a bolt to clamping рейке. Between an atomizer and a head of the block of cylinders the screen of thermal protection is located. The damaged atomizers can become the reason of following malfunctions:
- Faults in ignition of a fuel mix;
- Knock in one or several cylinders;
- Engine overheat;
- Capacity loss;
- Black exhaust smoke;
- The high expense of fuel;
- Grey exhaust smoke at start-up of the cold engine.
The faulty atomizer can be defined, disconnecting from atomizers топливопроводы a high pressure by turns while the engine works on the raised turns of idling. At atomizer removal operate as follows:
- Disconnect wires from АБ;
- Turn away a bolt of a cover of the engine, disconnect from it a hose and uncover;

- ослабьте also turn on накидные nuts топливопроводов a high pressure (fig. 478). Remove all топливопроводы in the complete set. Do not bend топливопроводы;
- Disconnect топливопроводы from ТНВД;
- Remove a spring clip from a hose of tap of oil and remove the complete set of pipelines;

- Disconnect hoses of tap of oil from atomizers (fig. 479);
- Remove from the holder штекерную колодку the gauge of lifting of a needle, and then separate штекерную колодку. Do not pull for a cable;
- Release a cable of the gauge of lifting of a needle from the collars fixing fastening of a plait of wires of candles накаливания;
- Disconnect a plait of wires of candles накаливания;

- Turn away bolts clamping реек atomizers (fig. 480) and remove рейки;
- Remove atomizers. A screw-driver take out the washers located under atomizers. On an atomizer № 3 the place of connection of the pipeline of tap of oil is located. Turn away a hollow bolt. In case of need the place of connection of the pipeline of tap of oil can be removed.
Installation of atomizers occurs in return sequence concerning removal process. Thus always change for the new washers located under atomizers.
