At dismantling of the oil pump it is necessary to be guided fig. 452.
Turn out from a cover of the pump two short bolts.
Uncover together with маслоприемной a pipe.
Take out from the case of the pump a cogwheel with shaft and a cogwheel without a shaft. It is possible to pull out and a power shaft.
Turn away both bolts of a grid маслоприемной pipes from a cover of the pump and remove the sealing ring located in the centre of a pipe. Carefully clear all details before to start check of their condition.
Check up the case of the oil pump on deformation. If the locations of bearings are worn out, replace the case of the oil pump as it leads to pressure loss.

Check up degree of deterioration of cogwheels, for this purpose insert between a teeth щуп (fig. 454) and measure a radial backlash. An admissible backlash 0,05 — 0,20 mm. If the backlash exceeds admissible replace gear wheels, and if necessary all pump.

- щупом and a steel ruler or a corner measure an axial backlash in the oil pump (fig. 455). Admissible size of an axial backlash of 0,06-0,15 mm.
Check up, whether in the case of the pump the shaft of a leading gear wheel densely sits. If it dangles, replace the pump case.
If you have found out damage or deterioration of a teeth replace gear wheels in steam. As a rule, wear tracks on a lateral surface of a teeth look as the polished brilliant surface.
At assemblage of the oil pump watch that pump surfaces were absolutely pure. Before assemblage oil all parts. Especially pay attention to greasing of cogwheels that they have not received the tease and damage at the first start of the engine. Before to establish the pump, be convinced that cogwheels rotate easily, without jammings.
At the first start-up of the engine do not maintain it at once on high turns that the oil pump was well earned extra.
