According to instructions the oil filter should be changed at each replacement of oil. As the oil filter is located in the main stream of proceeding oil, i.e. through it all oil necessary for greasing it cannot be corked by any adjournment proceeds. If it all the same occurs, in this case bypass the valve provides oil receipt in greasing places, in this case, however, oil arrives in not filtered kind.

To replace the oil filter follows according to the recommendations resulted in the operation manual of the car. For filter removal use or a stripper of the oil filter (fig. 456), or punch a screw-driver the filter case sideways and, operating with a screw-driver as the lever, turn away the filter.

If from the engine the filter basis at assemblage it is necessary to establish a new lining acts in film. Tighten a bolt of the basis of the filter the moment 25 Н·м. Do not put on a lining some any greasing. The way of fastening of the oil filter is shown on fig. 457.

Recommendations about filter installation are written on a label on the filter case.

Establish on the filter a new sealing ring which should be easily greased on perimetre. Wind the new filter a hand, without using any tool for its inhaling.

The note If at an inhaling of the filter you take advantage of a special key at the following replacement of oil it can turn out so that you with great difficulty will manage to turn away the old filter.

Check up oil level, and if necessary add oil in the engine.

After the car will pass some kilometres, necessarily check up, whether oil through a junction of the filter with a filter socle proceeds.
