The gauge of level of fuel includes a float and a potentiometer. With fall of level of fuel the float falls, thus a potentiometer connected with a float, increases electric resistance of the gauge. Therefore pressure falls, and the arrow of the index of level of fuel moves in a direction «leer» (is empty).

Removal of the gauge 30 (fig. 206 see) fuel level is carried out the same as also removal of the fuel pump until the flange 12 will be removed. Then a hand pull out from a fuel tank the gauge, having pressed its lock latch.
