On the 2,0-litre engine the new system of the multidot (distributed) injection of fuel under name Simos, formed from the name of its firm of the manufacturer — «Siemens» is established. This modern multidot system of injection has all same details, as the described electronic system of injection of engine VR6 except that it has only one gauge of a detonation and only 4 atomizers.
Fuel under the pressure, which size is supported by a regulator of pressure 4 (fig. 207), continuously moves to atomizers 3 which are established directly ahead of inlet valves. ЭБУ 8 counts duration of an impulse of injection, and consequently, and structure of a gas mixture depending on following parametres:
- Position throttle заслонки;
- Degree разряжения or pressure size in an inlet collector;
- Frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine.
The electric fuel pump takes away fuel from a tank and submits it under pressure to a fuel distributive highway. The pressure regulator supervises quantity of fuel returned in a tank and supports constant pressure of giving of fuel to atomizers.
On the basis of information ЭБУ received from gauges develops impulses of time of injection of fuel. At malfunction of any gauge EBU passes to an operating mode by "default" with the lowered efficiency on the basis of the fixed parametres put in the block of memory ЭБУ.
The arrangement of elements of system of injection in a motor compartment of 2,0-litre engine Simos is shown on fig. 207.
The electronic system of injection consists of following elements:
- The tank with the activated coal 1 is placed in the right wheel arch;
- The electromagnetic valve 2 opens and closes connection between the tank with the activated coal and the engine;
- The gauge of the mass expense of air 19 is located between the air filter of air and an inlet hose;
- Four-contact штекерная колодка 5 it is connected with a ljambda-probe 27 (fig. 208) and ljambda-probe heating;
- The valve of 7 systems рециркуляции ОГ today even more often name valve EGR;
ЭБУ 8 systems of injection Simos and the system of ignition connected with it it is located behind the panel of devices;
- Three-contact штекерная колодка 9 gauges of a detonation of brown colour;
- штекерная колодка 10 gauges of frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine of black colour;
- In the distributor of ignition 13 the Hall gauge is established;
- The gauge of 15 temperatures of a cooling liquid of black colour, is also the gauge of the remote thermometer located on the panel of devices;
- Functions of the gauge of a detonation 16 and coils of ignition 6 are described in section 8;
- The gauge of 12 speeds of movement informs ЭБУ on current speed of the car;
- The gauge 14 (fig. 207 see) informs ЭБУ on concrete frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine.
In ЭБУ systems Simos the block of memory or a memory which registers all refusals (failures) which have happened while in service, having three operating modes enters:
- Reading of the refusals (malfunctions) written down in memory which have happened at work of the engine;
- Mode of check of knots and car systems;
- Mode of diagnostics of malfunctions of systems of injection and ignition at the stopped engine.
The inquiry of operating modes is carried out through колодку diagnostics.
Deleting of the information on malfunctions from a memory is possible only at least after unitary reading of codes (a mode № 1) or after elimination of the found out malfunctions (modes №2 and 3).
