The note

Before to spend replacement of two cables of a gear change read all instructions, concerning the given work. Many of operations are difficult enough, and they are difficult for spending to not skilled person.

Replacement of cables of a gear change is a laborious work. The trosovyj drive of a gear change in the disassembled kind is shown on (fig. 248).

Gear change cables cannot be changed separately as they concern one knot. Replacement of cables of a gear change spend in a following order:

- Disconnect plugs and remove АБ (do not forget to have at itself a protective code of a radio tape recorder);

- Remove an air pipe 1 (fig. 234 see) and a partition 2 compartments АБ;

- If it is established, remove the additional block of the relay located at the left in a motor compartment of the engine (fig. 235, arrows 1 and 2 see);

- Turn away fastening bolts (fig. 235 see, an arrow 3) and remove casing АБ with a broad tank of system of cooling. Will put a tank aside;

- Screw-driver cautiously wring out one cable from the lever 1 (fig. 239 see) choice of transfers and the second cable from the lever of 2 inclusions of transfers;

- Compress clamps (fig. 240 see, arrows) and take out both cables of a gear change from the holder on a transmission;

- Turn away bolts of fastening of the forward screen of thermal protection of system of release ОГ and shift it in an interval between system of release ОГ and the back screen of thermal protection so that both cables of a gear change became visible. If there are difficulties disconnect a reception pipe and an average part of system of release ОГ that it was possible to displace the forward screen of thermal protection;

- Remove both lobbies of a seat together with devices of adjustment of position of seats;

- Turn away the handle of the lever of a gear change and remove it together with a compression spring (a spring ослабнет after отворачивания handles);

- Unfasten from the central console the goffered cover 2 (fig. 249) the gear change lever;

- Pull the goffered cover upwards and remove it together with the mechanism 1 (fig. 249 see) blockings of inclusion of a backing;

- Remove from clips a covering of the central console and turn away bolts of fastening of the central console;

- Open an ashtray and pull out its movement upwards;

- Remove a bulb 3 (fig. 250) illumination of an ashtray and disconnect штекерную колодку 2 systems of diagnostics;

- Remove the central console upwards through the gear change lever;

- Turn away bolts of fastening and remove average facing 1 (fig. 251) panels of devices;

- Turn away fastening bolts (fig. 252, are shown by arrows) and remove the rack of strengthening which is under the panel of devices;

- Lift the lever of a lay brake and pull out a screw-driver two stoppers (fig. 253). Remove the handle of 1 lever of a lay brake in a direction forward and pull down from the lever a cover 2;

- Disconnect a flange of fastening of a cable from the bottom;

- Remove an air lattice of a final aperture of a heater and the back channel of heating;

- Disconnect both cables of a gear change from gear change levers. For this purpose lock mechanisms press against the stop back (fig. 254, an arrow 1) and turn in a direction (an arrow 2) for their unblocking;

- Compress both uvulas (fig. 255) and take out both cables from the case of levers of a gear change. Now both cables of a gear change can be pulled out in salon.

Installation of cables of a gear change spend in an order, the return to removal, thus consider following moments:

- Insert cables separately (by turns) into apertures of the bottom of a body;

- Both cables of a gear change go under the car bottom to a transmission;

- The cable 1 (fig. 256) a transfer choice should cross with a cable of 2 inclusions of transfers. After that move both cables against the stop into transmission clips;

- Put on the end of a cable 1 (fig. 239 see) the lever of a choice of transfers, and a cable 2 on the lever of inclusion of transfers;

- Extend the lever of a choice of transfers against the stop outside and squeeze out both uvulas outside;

- Bolts of fastening of a rack of strengthening under the panel of devices tighten the moment 20 Н·м.
